MORLEY ROTATING SOUND SYNTHESIZER

MORLEY ROTATING SOUND SYNTHESIZER

Rare as hen's teeth and mad as a box of frogs. Morley's foray into the world of Leslie speaker emulation in 'pedal' form.

Yes, it's more compact than a real Leslie - and slightly lighter - but it's not what you might call pedalboard-friendly. It's big and heavy and uses Morley's slightly-crazy rotating oil-filled can technology as used in the Oilcan delay. It sounds like nothing else and I'd always wanted to hear one - and now I have - goes all the way from slightly queasy wobbly loveliness to full-on stop-the-boat-I-want-to-get-off-seasickness: I feel slightly green having just retested it (and I have good sea legs).

Definitely not for the gigging guitarist who likes to travel light, but an improvement for the Hammond player, maybe. It's not going to be your first and only modulation pedal, but will certainly be the only thing in your studio that sounds like this. In very good working order having been checked out by our tech - not the quietest effect you'll hear, but then the sort of person who's going to like this is unlikely to be shy of a little crackle or hiss.

It is a 110v unit - a step-down transformer can be used in the UK/EU.
We do not recommend using cheap generic Chinese mains transformers and can supply a high quality UK-made transformer if required.
