ROLAND TR-808

Roland TR-808 in exceptional cosmetic condition and excellent working order (see many detailed pictures).

This machine has been very well looked after over the years and it shows: easily one of the cleanest 808s we’ve seen. It comes with Kenton Midi installed, a modern clear plastic overlay to protect the face, grey vinyl dustcover, printout of the owner’s manual and Kenton instructions, and the original battered overlay that’s doubtless responsible for it’s current condition.

You’ll struggle to find a better 808 anywhere else: the main face seems to be completely unmarked and there’s no damage to the small pot-tops.

There are some minor scuffs and scratches around the edges and on the back panel where the jack sockets reside, but the underside is almost unmarked - not at all what you'd expect from a 30 year old machine. As can be seen from the many detailed photos it’s stunning, and of course is a joy to program and tweak.

We’ve tested it fully in our studio and found no issues at all - the Midi seems to be working well, though we’ve not tested all Midi functions.

It is a UK 240v model so a step-up transformer will be required for USA/Canada.
