SHIN-EI COMPANION FY-2 FUZZ BOX
Very clean example of an Shin-ei Companion FY-2 Fuzz Box pedal for sale in perfect working order. Late 60s or early 70s.
It snarls and spits like a wildcat! Sounds absolutely monstrous - think Jack White, Black Keys, Radiohead...
The Shin-ei fuzzes were also famously-abused by eighties wall-of-noisemongers The Jesus And Mary Chain among many others but they're capable of far more, creating some very classy 60's fuzz sounds.
Once-cheap, Japanese fuzzes from the 60s/70s have aged well and are now very sought-after.
In good working order - no crackly pots or noisy switch issues.
(Please note: it is always possible with vintage equipment that some crackly pots/sliders may develop over time when equipment has not been used - even during shipping - this can usually be easily rectified either by use or with a bit of switch-cleaning spray)
