Yamaha CS-15 - 240v

Superb synth: powerful, sounds great, but has accessible/logical controls that make it simple to dig into.

For sale in excellent cosmetic condition with only very small signs of wear showing on the face and on the end panels of the unit. It comes with its original case. The case has two vintage Yellow Magic Orchestra stickers stuck to it (including a backstage pass!) and there is also a vintage Yamaha sticker on one end panel of the synth; these could be removed fairly easily as seen fit by the buyer. See the detailed photos for more info on cosmetic condition.

freshly serviced and tested by us - in excellent working order with no known faults.

240v machine (100v Japanese machine that has had a new transformer and mains cabling fitted by us).

Perhaps this video demo of a similar unit with Tony's initial reaction to our first CS-15 sums up our thoughts on this instrument:

CS Gas. Right now we have quite a Yamaha family gathering here at Soundgas: the CS-80 and CS-70 arrived from Paris last week, and the CS-60 we sold recently is having its Kenton midi kit fitted before heading out to Berlin. There's also a 30 en route in the next week or so. The above are such great GAS-inducing beasts that they somewhat overshadow their lesser-numbered siblings. The CS-15 you see and hear here (both oscillators are being triggered by a simple arpeggio) is certainly no slouch. I was quickly inspired to roll up my sleeves and then lost a good hour marvelling at just how big this modestly-proportioned synth can sound. It's in near mint condition and comes in the original Yamaha flight case. GAS-inducing indeed.
